MoonPay Expands U.S. Crypto Access With Discover Network Integration

MoonPay is making crypto accessible to millions more Americans by adding Discover® Network to its payments platform.

The integration allows eligible U.S. Discover cardholders to buy and sell digital assets across MoonPay's network of more than 500 wallets, exchanges and Web3 applications, making Discover the third major U.S. card network supported alongside Visa and Mastercard.

With support already spanning Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, bank transfers and regional payment rails, MoonPay is continuing its strategy of making crypto purchases feel as familiar as any other online checkout.

Connecting Another Major Payment Network

"Every payment method we add removes a reason someone doesn't convert at checkout," said Richard Harrison, Vice President of Banking and Payments Partnerships at MoonPay.

Building the Default Crypto On-Ramp

Today, MoonPay serves more than 30 million customers across 180 countries and provides on-ramps, off-ramps, trading, crypto payments and stablecoin infrastructure for more than 500 enterprise partners through a single integration.

The company has also built one of the industry's broadest regulatory footprints, holding a New York BitLicense, a New York Limited Purpose Trust Charter, money transmitter licenses across the United States and authorization under Europe's MiCA framework.

As crypto adoption expands beyond early enthusiasts, convenience is becoming just as important as blockchain innovation.
