Inveniam Launches NVNM Chain to Bring Accountability to AI-Driven Finance
By Lidia Yadlos
Inveniam Capital Partners has announced the launch of NVNM Chain, a purpose-built Layer 2 designed to give AI agents a verifiable record of the data behind every decision.
As AI agents begin handling capital allocation, compliance, and treasury workflows, institutions are facing a growing challenge: proving how those decisions are made. NVNM Chain is positioned as the infrastructure layer to solve that — enabling AI systems to log their inputs, reasoning, and accountability in an immutable format.
Mainnet is scheduled to go live on May 13, 2026.
A New Layer for AI Accountability
NVNM Chain is designed to act as an attestation layer for AI agents operating in regulated environments — turning each decision into a verifiable record.
Key capabilities include:
Recording source data, decision logic, and human oversight for every AI action
Creating an immutable, independently verifiable audit trail
Enabling low-cost, real-time logging of decisions at scale
Replacing fragmented internal logs with a neutral ledger
“The conversation around AI in financial services has shifted from capability to accountability,” said Patrick O’Meara, Founder and CEO of Inveniam. “Regulators are no longer asking whether an AI agent can act. They are asking how you prove what it acted on.”
The timing aligns with rapid AI adoption across enterprises, where governance frameworks have struggled to keep pace with deployment.
Built for Regulated Markets at Scale
Unlike general-purpose blockchains, NVNM Chain is tailored specifically for institutional and compliance-heavy environments.
The platform launches with two core components:
MCP Server: allows AI agents to log decisions and data in a single step without requiring blockchain expertise
Know Your Agent (KYA): assigns each AI agent a verifiable identity tied to a human operator, with enforceable permission scopes
Additional infrastructure features include:
Pre-defined execution permissions to limit agent behavior
Enterprise-grade access controls aligned with internal compliance systems
Sub-second settlement with minimal transaction costs
The system has already been tested through real-world deployments, including large-scale compliance checks under regulated frameworks.
NVNM Chain is also built on Inveniam’s existing infrastructure, which includes:
90 granted U.S. patents related to blockchain data attestation
Over $200 billion in private market assets credentialed across sectors like private equity, credit, and real estate
Closing
As AI becomes embedded in financial decision-making, the ability to verify its actions is quickly becoming a requirement — not an option.
NVNM Chain reflects that shift, introducing infrastructure designed not just for automation, but for accountability.
In a market moving toward autonomous systems, proving what happened may matter just as much as what happens next.
