CertiK Becomes Preferred Security Partner for Hub71 Startups in Abu Dhabi
By Lidia Yadlos
As governments around the world tighten oversight of the digital asset industry, security and regulatory compliance are becoming just as important as product development.
That's the focus of a new partnership between CertiK and Hub71, Abu Dhabi's global technology ecosystem.
CertiK has been selected as an official vendor for Hub71, giving startups building within the ecosystem preferred access to its Web3 security and compliance services as they scale in one of the fastest-growing digital asset hubs in the Middle East.
Helping Startups Navigate Security and Regulation
Under the agreement, Hub71 portfolio companies will receive a 20% discount across CertiK's security services, supported by a $200,000 subsidy pool available to eligible startups.
Companies will also receive complimentary access to the CertiK Compliance Tool, a platform designed to simplify licensing applications and ongoing regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
The tool supports founders navigating regulatory processes with authorities including the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and the Central Bank of the UAE, while helping companies manage compliance as they expand internationally.
Security Is Becoming a Competitive Advantage
The partnership comes as regulators around the world continue introducing more comprehensive frameworks for digital assets.
In jurisdictions such as the UAE, European Union and Hong Kong, licensing, anti-money laundering (AML) controls and cybersecurity standards are becoming core requirements for companies operating in the sector.
Strengthening Abu Dhabi's Web3 Ecosystem
Hub71 has become one of the Middle East's fastest-growing startup ecosystems, supported by Mubadala, ADQ and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
The platform provides founders with access to capital, corporate partners, regulators and government agencies while helping companies establish operations in the UAE.
The addition of CertiK expands the ecosystem's support network as Abu Dhabi continues positioning itself as a regional hub for Web3, fintech and artificial intelligence companies.
Building Trust in Digital Assets
Founded in 2017, CertiK has grown into one of the largest providers of Web3 security services. The company says it has identified more than 117,000 vulnerabilities while helping protect over $600 billion in digital assets across more than 150 countries.
Alongside smart contract audits and security monitoring, CertiK increasingly works with regulators and institutions on digital asset policy, reflecting the industry's broader shift toward regulated infrastructure.
For both CertiK and Hub71, the partnership reflects a common objective: giving startups the security, compliance and operational support needed to scale as digital assets become a more established part of the global financial system.
