Bybit’s 80 Million Users Can Now Pay Across Mesh’s 300+ Crypto Platforms

Crypto held on an exchange is becoming easier to spend without first moving it somewhere else.

Bybit Pay has partnered with crypto payments network Mesh, giving Bybit's more than 80 million users a way to pay or fund accounts directly from their existing Bybit balances across platforms connected to Mesh.

The integration also gives businesses using Mesh access to Bybit's global customer base without requiring them to build a separate Bybit integration.

For users, the biggest change is what they no longer have to do before making a payment. There is no need to withdraw crypto from Bybit, send it to another wallet or manually convert assets before checking out.

Instead, users visiting a Mesh-powered platform can select Bybit Pay and pay using assets already held in their Bybit account.

Connecting Bybit to 300+ Wallets and Exchanges

Mesh has built a payments network connecting more than 300 crypto wallets, exchanges and financial platforms.

Rather than requiring users to move assets between these services manually, Mesh provides infrastructure that connects the platforms where crypto is held with the businesses where users want to spend it.

Adding Bybit significantly expands that network. The exchange says it now serves more than 80 million users worldwide, creating a large potential customer base for merchants and platforms already connected to Mesh.

"Bybit has built one of the most engaged communities in crypto," said Bam Azizi, CEO and Co-founder of Mesh. "People shouldn't have to move their money to use it. We bring the network to where the money already is."

For businesses, Bybit Pay can be enabled through their existing Mesh integration. Payments can then be made from Bybit balances while merchants receive their preferred settlement asset.

The infrastructure also supports programmable settlement options, allowing businesses greater control over how and when funds are settled across different markets.

Turning Exchange Balances Into Payments

The partnership comes as crypto exchanges increasingly expand beyond trading into payments, cards and other financial services.

Bybit Pay is part of that shift, extending the use of assets held inside a Bybit account beyond investing and trading.

“Bybit Pay is designed to remove the friction between holding digital assets and using them to pay. Users can pay directly from their Bybit balance, using the asset they already hold, while platforms receive the asset they want,” said Sophie Chen, Head of Marketing, Bybit Card & Pay.

“Our partnership with Mesh brings this capability to more payment experiences and strengthens Bybit Pay’s role in connecting digital assets with the broader payments ecosystem.”

The model also addresses one of the persistent inconveniences in crypto payments. Digital assets may be liquid and transferable, but users often still need to move funds between exchanges, wallets and payment applications before they can actually spend them.

By connecting those platforms at the infrastructure level, Mesh is trying to make an exchange balance function more like a payment source.

For Bybit, that means its users can do more with their crypto without taking it off the platform first. For Mesh-powered businesses, it creates a direct payment route into one of crypto's largest pools of users.

Bybit Pay is available through Mesh now, and businesses already integrated with Mesh can add it as a payment option through their existing integration.
