0G Foundation Secures $30.6M in Record-Breaking Node Sale for Decentralized AI OS

0G Foundation, the leader in decentralized AI, has closed its AI Alignment Node Sale, raising an impressive $30.6M. This achievement solidifies 0G as a key player in creating the first decentralized AI Operating System (AI OS) for onchain applications, marking the third-largest decentralized AI fundraise to date.
Over six weeks, nearly 85,000 nodes were purchased by 8,500 participants, making this the second-highest node sale by unique buyers in history. Backed by a blend of public and private funding, the node sale ensures a globally distributed and community-driven network of operators.
The sale, supported by 20 major launchpads including CoinList, SwissBorg, and Second Lane, showcased the broad appeal and scalability of 0G’s vision.
Scaling Decentralized AI
The $30.6M raised adds to the foundation’s previous pre-seed and seed funding rounds, bringing total funding to $400M. This financial backing will support the global deployment of thousands of nodes, each tied to NFTs that represent operating licenses.
NFT node holders will play a dual role:
Earn rewards – Up to 15% of the 0G token supply over three years, plus incentives from ecosystem projects.
Maintain network integrity – Nodes monitor AI behavior, prevent deviations, and ensure robust, censorship-resistant operations.
The decentralized framework ensures the community has a direct say in future developments, with governance already underway to align rewards and incentives.
Innovating Beyond Node Operations
The 0G Foundation is also working on introducing a new NFT standard for AI agents, known as ERC-7844. This standard will allow seamless metadata transfer during ownership changes, laying the groundwork for a decentralized and transferable AI ecosystem.
To prepare for the network’s next phase, a dedicated dashboard enables NFT holders to connect wallets, monitor nodes, and track rewards. This tool ensures smooth participation as the network transitions into its operational phase.
